Alison & Josh's Wedding

On Saturday, Grant's cousin Alison got married in Des Moines.  All of the little Oskvig cousins were bell ringers for the wedding.  So there were 13 cousins ages 3 months to 9 years in the wedding.  Each of the kids walked down the aisle ringing their own bell while some of the older kids carried the younger ones.  They all did a great job and looked so cute too!  We had such a fun weekend at the wedding and reception and just getting to spend some time with our family!

(Funny story about the dresses.  I've looked back at pictures from when I was little and said that I would never wear matching outfits with my kids like my mom used to do with us.  But for the wedding we had already bought Kaylee's dress and then went shopping to find something for me.  Kaylee saw this dress right when we walked into the store and said, "Try that one on Mommy and then we can match!"  She was so excited, so I tried it on and since I liked the dress I went ahead and bought it.  Before the wedding she told quite a few people that her and Mommy had matching dresses!)

4th of July

We had such a great time celebrating the 4th of July in Williams.  Kaylee was on the Little Princess float (and later the t-ball float too!), Dylan got to ride in a race car, Grant walked through the parade throwing candy, and Ryan and I got to watch everyone.  After the parade we went to the park for all of the activities.  The kids both ran in the races, rode the train, did frisbee art, visited the duck pond and got way too many prizes, went to the ring toss and won some pop, and they also did the cake walk.  That night we came back to the park for the little princess program that Kaylee was in.  They interviewed each one of the girls and then a band played after that.  Then we finished off the night with some great fireworks in town.  It was a great day and all of us had a lot of fun!!!

Dylan was so excited to be in this car.  Before the parade he was being a little impatient and wanting things to start.  He kept yelling, "Go, Daddy, go!!!"

Kaylee and Dylan each got to run in the races in the park.

Our nephew Brent (far left in the red shirt) also ran at the same time Dylan did.  You can see him along with a few other relatives in the picture.

Having fun on the train.

Ryan enjoying a ride in the stroller through the park.  He had fun at his first 4th of July celebration!

Riding the train again.  I don't know how many times Dylan rode this throughout the day!

Ryan slept through all of the fireworks!!!  You would have thought it would have been too loud for him, but then again he's been around Dylan enough that he's used to a lot of noise!
